A dome-shaped peat bog called Polish Siberia. It covers an area of over 300 hectares, covered with peat mosses and swamp forest. In the northern part of the bog there is a perfectly preserved typical peat dome, with a forestless central part. There are unusual and rare flora specimens, including sundew. The peatland was formerly exploited, but the sites are perfectly regenerated. The entire site is one of the most beautifully formed and best preserved Baltic-type peat bogs in Poland, which is why a nature reserve was created here and included in the Natura 2000 network, within the boundaries of the proposed “Szczecinek Lakes” Site of Community Importance.
