A neo-Gothic church, modelled on North German Gothic style, built between 1905 and 1908 according to a design by Berlin architect Oskar Hoßfeld, as the Evangelical Church of St. Nicholas. The church was built of brick. Its grand and powerful form is characterised by a lightness achieved through the use of tall windows and a slender tower (78 m), towering over the city. The main altar is a winged altarpiece. The temple has some of the furnishings relocated from the old Church of St. Nicholas, among others, the limestone epitaph of Dorothy A. Westregen from 1621 and in the galleries 6 brass chandeliers from the first half of the 17th century. In the presbytery, 4 neo-Gothic stained-glass windows designed by Ernst Tey with 8 scenes from the life of Christ can be seen. The neo-Gothic main altar in the central section conceals a crucifix chiselled by Frieze von Leeke from Szczecin. On the sides, two large oil paintings: Birth of Jesus and Resurrection, painted by von Ubisch according to medieval engravings by Martin Schongauer. In the high choir section stands a large organ with 1,670 pipes, made by Völker of Bydgoszcz.
