Structure built by Germans in the 30ties of the 20th century ; a part of the military complex of Gross Born. In between 1935-1944 the building was used as a place of accommodation of garrison's gen. Wilhelm Thofern. From 1945 to 1992 the structure was used as a hotel for general officers of the Soviet armed forces. During the last phase of the the stationing of the Red Army units in Poland the building served as the residence of gen. Dubynin - commanding officer of the Northern Group of Forces. Currently, it's a private property.
